Well here it is another Monday. How do they come so fast?? I mean really we should have Friday, Saturday and Sunday for our weekends. I think it would make Monday's not nearly as crappy. But since it is Monday and I can't do anything to change that I might as well make the most of it and write my Manic Mommy Monday post!
On to my post for the week. We have been living in remodeling hell the past few months and for awhile it was fine just living with the dust and what not, but this past week or so the Hubby and I have been installing hardwood floors. Which is easier to do when you don't have a toddler running around who wants to be just like Daddy or who doesn't go to bed at 6:30. Thanks to our wonderful friends and family members we were able to get free childcare after work for three days last week to finish up the floors!

But they look beautiful and I am really glad we did it. Now we just have to install the closet systems, paint a small downstairs wall and the upstairs bathroom and our part of the remodel will be over! Thank goodness.
So that's what the Working Mama has been up to the past week or so and while it was hard to do we are so glad we did some of the work ourselves. So thanks again to our friends and family out there that helped out us with this! We couldn't have done it without you. (And the ones that let us borrow all their tools).
