So here is the dilemma: What do I do with the Glider?
Here is it under the window.
This is where it was going to go - where the ottoman is, but it sticks out almost as far as the crib.
I just don't know what to do. I was thinking there are two ways.
1. Put the glider where it is in the first picture, keep the ottoman close by and just not in the middle of the room and put the table to the right of it as you are looking at the window in the first picture
2. Move the crib where the table is in the 2nd picture and move the dresser down and put the glider in the corner more..
There is a 3rd option but Mike doesn't like it. I want to put the dresser under the window, but he doesn't want to do that, because of sun damage. But I figure for most of the time the shades will be shut, but maybe not.
I don't know, I am really upset about this because it just doesn't work with the furniture we bought and we thought it would....I am sure it will work out, just frustrating. Any suggestions let me know.

What about removing the smaller table altogether and putting the glider there? I think whatever you do you aren't going to want to drag the ottoman over to the glider when you need to use it- so it'll either not get used and be out of the way or it'll stick out and you'll have to walk around it. You'll figure it out- you might just have to live with it and see what works best. The baby might not even LIKE the glider, so there's that too. You just never know.
I agree with Miss Erin. In fact, I think I like the idea of the glider at a bit of an angle toward the crib. You could put the little night stand under the window, or just slide it over in between the crib and glider.
Good luck!! :)
Thanks ladies, Not sure if I want to move out the table, but if we have to we will. I wanted to put a lamp on it and stuff, so we will see.
After this weekend Mike and I are going to move stuff around a little. I am thinking of putting the crib along the wall that the small table is on, and pushing down the dresser more towards the crib and putting the glider in the corner with the small table under the window.
Thanks for the advice with the ottoman, right now it's that way because of the party so when people go look at the room it's not in the way, but I should remember I will have a baby in my arms and not want to move it :) Plus we will have a ton of other stuff in there for the baby :)
I would put the glider in the corner (option 2). In the different rooms we've had ours in, that just seems to be the only configuration that feels logical and doesn't make it an eyesore. Have you tried using floorplanner.com to play around with things?
If you need help moving stuff around, let us know!
