The Nursery

Mike and I have been talking about the nursery more. We aren't going to do anything until after Ski Season is over with, March. We are going to be painting all the walls except one a light brown and then have a light green accent wall where the crib will be. We also decided not to go with a bedding set. You shouldn't have the bumpers in the crib, so we decided it wasn't worth (although it would have been cute) the money, when all we really wanted was the sheets, the mobile, and the wall decorations. The baby can't have the quilt in the crib anyhow, and I am sure with the blanket I am making and others he/she will have more than enough blankets that it can use and that will mean more.

Mike also decided that he wants to build a "window seat", really a bench that we will put under the window (see picture below). We aren't going to have the blue for the pillows and stuff but we will do something like this and then we can put blankets & toys underneath it. Mike is super excited to build something like this.

I just can't wait until we can start working on it :) Now just to figure out what Safari, Jungle theme we want go with and find the decals for the wall.
