We have two top contenders for our "Theme" we decided what we would do is find a bedding set we liked and then get all the accessories (Lamp, border or decals, rugs or things like that) and just not the bedding set. This way we can decorate the room, but not use the bedding. I am super excited that we are getting there. The below picture is our top pick that we have found so far. They have wall decals and a border, so we can do a lot of things!
We went to another smaller shop in Hopkins and had a great experience there. B.aby on Grand is an awesome store and I am glad that it was recommended to us. They have some very expensive items, but they are very knowledgeable with what products are good and helped us with our questions about strollers etc.
We think that we have found our stroller that we want. I am super excited about it. I want to do some more research. But it's pretty light weight - not like some others, but for a travel system it's great. It's a C.hicco brand travel system. It goes up to 30lbs in the Car Seat which is great. The base that goes in the car is magnetized so the car seat fits in easy. All the straps and stuff are really easy to use and it has an easy one hand fold for the stroller. a friend of ours had this same stroller and loved it. so I think this is probably the one. We just have to figure out the crib now. It's hard as there are so many choices. Those choices range from $250.00 to $1,000. There is no way that we are spending over $450 or so on a crib. I just can't do it. We are planning on having a second child so we don't need a convertible crib, because we will need the crib again, so I don't want to get something that won't last through two children. All these things to get and think about, it's crazy.
