Another good Blog Hop topic, although this is a tough one for me. I have breastfed plenty of times in public but I can honestly say that I don't think I have had too many "bloopers" around it. At least not anything that specifically comes to mind.
All the times that I breastfed in public in the unlikely of places. When Gabby was first born I wasn't really into NIP (Nursing in Public) I was nervous, I had an over supply, I was so afraid she was going to pop off too many times or I wouldn't be prepared. So every time we would go out I would bring a bottle, which she didn't really like and it always had to be super warm. So one day in the Mall of America with all these people around and a group of friends, Gabby refused to take the bottle and I needed to NIP. So I did and it wasn't nearly as bad as it was in my head.
But there were times when the girl would pop off and out would shoot some milk. That's what you get with an over supply. A fountain of Breast milk that will make any person laugh. I can't tell you how many times I sprayed Gabby all over her face, or my foot for that matter.
Whenever I was in public before my supply really regulated which wasn't until about January 2011, I would have to ALWAYS have a burp rag with me ready in hand. When she would nurse my milk would let down and then she would start drowning and off she would come and up would go the rag. It was highly embarrassing but the only other thing that I could do was pump and I would much rather have a burp cloth with me then have to pump more than normal just to feed her outside of the home.
So unfortunately I don't have any truly embarrassing moments, but that's what I got. What are some of your embarrassing moments while nursing??

That is definitely not an experience I had but I think you are probably in good company. I am always amazed at the differences you see between a low supply, a normal supply and an over-supply- each comes with it's own bag of tricks.
