We got it!

Mike got the call yesterday from the people that own the timeshare and they accepted our offer for the 1 week that we wanted. It happens to be a unit right next to his parents which is even better. So we are super excited. Plus it's so cheap we don't have to take a loan out. So we transferred the money and will be getting in touch with the guy sometime next week so we can meet him at a bank up in Fridley and give him the cashiers check and also get the deed signed over and notarized. The even better news is that the guy said that if the transfer doesn't happen with the Breezy Point resort in time for our week up there that he is going to put through the paperwork so we can rent it that week. So when we go on vacation this June I will NOT be sleeping on a murphy bed in the living room, but in my own bedroom :) I am super excited.

The bedroom that Mike and I will have is upstairs with the loft overlooking the rest of the place, it has a TV up there as well.  :) This way too Mike's mom can stay up late in their cabin and not keep us up :) She is a night owl. I am so excited for our vacation now and I am even more excited now that I am spending the entire week up there. It will be a lot easier to work at night and stuff if I can be in my own place :) and I only have 16 hours to work, and I told my boss that will probably be spread out over the week and I would be available by phone. Most of it will be Thursday and Friday, but I will probably work a few hours each night when we aren't doing anything and get some documentation done.

I am going to start this post out by saying that while this is non-baby related it is still sort of baby related. Mike and I are super excited about it.

Every year the Epp family (all 6 of us, now 7 of us with my niece) go up to Breezy Point Resort in northern Minnesota in June. My in-laws have a timeshare up there with a 6 person cabin, it's two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a pull out bed out of the wall. They have been going there since Mike and Barrett were little. Mike was thinking as it's getting near our time to head up there this year that next year with Peanut there will be 8 of us in there. Which will be a lot more people in a semi-small space. So he went out and actually found a timeshare that is either right next to his parents, or really close - it's in the same complex and it's for the exact week we would want it. So yesterday we contacted the Realtor about it. It was originally going for two weeks right in a row, and we didn't want that. So we asked the Realtor if we could put an offer on just one week and we did with them paying the closing costs. We are currently waiting to see if they accept our offer. So cross your fingers. If this goes through quickly, we might be able to even use it this year, but I am not sure if that works, but we will find out.

So now it's just a waiting game.
