Livy Pie - 8 Months

  I am a bit late with her 8 month post, but late is better than never!

18lbs 10oz

9 Month and some 12 month stuff

Size 3 diapers

Feeding

Mama's milk all the way.You are drinking about 3 to 4 - 5oz bottles at daycare and on the weekends you are just nursing on demand.
You are also eating 2 meals a day at daycare and 1 to 2 snacks as well. You LOVE food!!

Sleep Schedule

You haven't been sleeping as well the last month, you have been battling a bad ear infection and have been getting up 1 to 2 times a night usually around 2:30 and 5:00am. You are napping 2 times a day.

Milestones

* You are scooting backwards a lot now and moving yourself into the sitting position.

* You are rocking back and forth like you want to crawl, it will be any day now
* You have 2 teeth now!! And you know how to use them.
* You can give a high five and are starting to wave at people

* You are eating like a champ and pretty much eat anything that is put in front of you, I haven't seen a food yet you don't eat.

* You are talking more and more these days and making so many sounds
* You LOVE your dog and your sister and your face lights up when you see them walk into the room!

Feeding

15 to 20oz of BreastMilk a day at daycare

You nurse about 4 or 5 times at night.
Purees, Puffs, Yogurt and Cereal at Daycare
Whatever Mom & Dad are eating at night.

Bedtime/Wakeup Times

Bedtime: anywhere from 7:30pm to 8:30pm

Wakeup Time: usually around 10:30pm, Midnight, 3:30am and 6:30am for the day

Naptimes: 9am and 12pm

8 Month Milestones

* Talking up a storm

* Eating more and more. You have tried so many foods. You love Cucumbers, sweet potato puree with oatmeal, onions, puffs and avocado. You absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE avocado. In fact the other day you almost ate an entire 1/2 of an avocado.

* Scooting more and more. Your engine is still going backward and not forward but you are moving around where you want to go. Mom and dad are going to have to get the house baby-proofed.

* Holding your bottle more and more

* Using your sippy cup a lot more now too.

Dear Cuddlebug - You are eight months today. Mama is so proud to be your mom. You have come so far in the last month, it's truly amazing to watch you grow, learn and discover this world. You are discovering so much and so fast.

You are a mama's girl this month. You only want mama and some of the teachers at daycare. You are very particular with who you want to be around you

You have had a few daddy and daughter days this month so mama could hang out with friends. I am really excited for Mother's day this year. Since it will be my first mothers day and it will be your first Race for the Cure. I debated for awhile bringing you, but I am really excited to bring you and have you start our family tradition.

I am so in love with you and everything about you. My life has been amazing since you have come into it, and I really can't imagine my life without you. Happy 8 Months baby girl!
