Turn Beauty Inside Out Day

I used to work at a magazine called New Moon Girls when I lived in Duluth. It was a wonderful place to work and the things I learned there will stay with me all my life. Thanks Shelly, Nancy, Sandy and others! You were all wonderful and it was an awesome opportunity. For those that don't know, New Moon is a magazine that is written by girls for girls. No advertising what so ever. The girls write a lot of the articles and it really touches on things that they are dealing with. It's for ages 8 to 14 and I can't wait for my cousin to turn 8 here in a few years so I can give her a subscription for it. I think it's a great magazine and I was super sad when I had to leave my job there.

Well every year on May 19th they have a Turn Beauty Inside Out day. It really focuses on what is natural beauty and what the beauty is inside of us rather than what's on the outside. They are having an uncontest this year called Inner Beauty Mirror Uncontest. It's an Uncontest because there is no judging.  If you have a little girl in your life that you think would love to enter this contest here are the rules. The Uncontest is open until May 19th.
