29 Weeks

11 more weeks until the little one arrives, unless she is early or late ;) I was actually 29 weeks on Tuesday, but was lazy all week since Sunday and didn't take my picture...So here is my picture - after 12 hours of fasting...so I was a little hungry.

I had my 3 Hour Gestational Diabetes test this morning...Here is the run down.

• 9:30pm last night: Started Fasting
• 8:30am this morning: Had the appointment....Got my first vial of blood drawn
• 8:30 - 8:33: Drank the Lovely, Lovely Orange Drink (Can you hear the sarcasm?). It was 10 oz of 100grams of sugar, tasted like Cough Syrup....Not so great, especially on an empty stomach.
• 8:33-9:33: Sat in the office and felt sick to my stomach and waited for the next draw
• 9:33: Got my 2nd of 4 blood draws. She bruised me, luckily it's not too bad.
• 10:33: 3rd Blood Draw, she couldn't find a vein in my right arm, so we had to go to the room and use the blood pressure cuff and finally she got it.
• 11:33: Last and final blood draw, she found the vein again in my right arm, only a little bruise but at least I was done.

Finally got out of there so I could go get some lunch. Treated myself to Chipotle, to get some protein in me since I had way way too many carbs in the morning with the drink and headed home to go back to work. I don't know the results, wish I would but I will have to wait until tomorrow. If I don't hear anything from them by 2, I am going to call them to get the results - can you tell I am not patient?


Below is an updated picture of Peanut's Blanket.I still have a full 3 rows left to do, I am currently getting those made up to sew on and then I have to sew the boarder around the entire thing. The three rows will be to right of the Green & Yellow row. If I for some reason don't finish it before she comes it's big enough for her to use right away or even when she get's older, but I would like to finish it up.
