I am 5 Weeks!

I can't believe that I am about 5 weeks pregnant right now. It's crazy to even think that I am pregnant, but it's real. My body is telling me it's real. Wednesday while in a meeting at work, a woman was sitting next to me and started eating a yogurt. I almost had to get up and leave the meeting because the smell of the yogurt was awful. I apparently can't be around it at all. Mike had some chicken the other night and the container that he had heated it in was sitting next to me and I made him move it to upstairs, because the smell wasn't bad, but I just kept smelling it.

So luckily I haven't had morning sickness, but from what I have been reading that might not start until 6 weeks, so we will see what happens the next week. Cross your fingers that I don't get morning sickness :) 

I am getting super excited for my appointment on the 11th of January. I really can't wait to get an UltraSound. Hopefully they will do one at the appointment. I just can't wait until I get to that point and we can start telling people.

Mike and I were at a family event last night and my Aunt thought she had figured it out why I wasn't drinking. I told her no I wasn't pregnant. and then at the end of the night when the rest of the family was gone we told her, my uncle and my cousins. Swore them to secrecy. I hate holding it in. But Mike really wants to wait until we are 12 or so weeks, and I am going to try to compromise with him and wait until after our appointment, which will be at about 9 1/2 weeks or so. That way it's not as early as I want. Hopefully Christmas won't be too bad. I think now that my Aunt knows, it will help because she was really the only one that noticed and that was only because I was trying to stay away from Diet soda, caffeine and wine :) Otherwise I think it will be fine....I want to tell them all at Christmas, but I am trying to respect Mike's decision not to tell people, because it's his baby too.
