Cribs & Nursery

Mike and I started looking at Cribs this past weekend. Just looking online to get an idea of what we wanted and didn't want.

My dad talked about building us a crib, but when I looked into it, it's almost as much as one of these cribs. so I think it would be more special for him to build a chair or a rocking horse or something like that, or a bookshelf or toy bin for Little Peanut.

We are hoping to get something like the one to the left here...not that crib bedding, as we want to do an Arctic theme - Penguins, Polar Bears, whales etc....so after the holidays we will be painting (probably a light blue on the top and a dark blue on the bottom with a chair rail in between) the room. We want to put the chair rail like 2 or 3 feet from the ceiling, so not like normal. we don't want to put too much into the room since in a year or two it will get torn apart. but I also want to put peanut's name on the wall also...so we will see what we can do.

I can't wait until we can start decorating and buying stuff. We need to wait just in case something happens, but I so wish we could go out now and buy stuff.....
