It's Been a Rough Week

I have been in CT for the last couple of days and heading back to MN tomorrow - Thank Goodness. It's just been weird. Food hasn't been sounding the greatest, but I have been trying to eat when I can. There isn't a lot of restaurants that sound appetizing..so I have just been trying to deal with it.

Work is actually really crazy. I had a weird thing today in the meeting. All I am going to say is that I felt like I was being attacked for something that I didn't really have control over and then on top of it one specific person who should have backed me up, a level above me, didn't. She stayed quiet and didn't say a darn thing. I was pretty upset. but when you are in a room full of 18 people you can't cry. so luckily one of my co-workers just IM'd me and told me to keep breathing...which was helpful. I am fine now, still upset at this person, I lost a lot of respect for them and made me realize that she isn't there to protect me and that I need to be there for me when I am working and make sure that if I think something needs to be done to either just do it or forward it on and ask....Gotta love big corporations! I should know by now this is how they all work, no matter where you go.
