I can't wait.....

This is a poem I found that I wrote for our little one before we even started trying....

I Can't Wait

I can't wait to see your little smile
I can't wait to see your cute nose and your little fingers and toes
I can't wait to meet you and hold you in my arms
I can't wait to see you with your father
I can't wait to teach you all that we know
I can't wait to care for you and be there for you
I can't wait to love you!

I remember well the anticipation I felt when I was expecting my first! So sweet, such a long pregnancy! I wanted labor to begin so badly and when I finally met her... it was better than any thing I had ever read in a birth story.

With our current pregnancy (our second) I feel so much more in control (which is nice) but I miss that sense of pure wonder and curiosity!

Nice to see someone enjoying it fully :)
